Last year that number reached a new high: 6.6 million. And that record is on track to be broken again, as 2 million electric cars have been sold in just the first quarter of 2022. That’s a 75% increase over Q1 2021.

BreezEV Level 2 EV Charging Station

The BreezEV Level 2 EV Charging Station is Light Efficient Design’s simple EV charging technology for at home or on the go. It has a max output of 48A/11.2 kW, but can be adjusted down to 40A, 32A, or 16A. Its sleek, compact, and rugged housing is IP65 rated for both indoor and outdoor use. The unit features a natural cooling system and can operate in temps from -22° to 122° F. The product comes with a 3-year warranty and Anti-UV paint to resist fading over time.

BreezEV Smart Connected Level 2 EV Charging Station

The BreezEV Connected Level 2 Charging Station combines LED’s fastest charging module (up to 48A) with connected network technology for private and public use. It features everything available in the base model above, with the addition of internet connectivity.

This unit features the popular and reliable AmpUp software program making it very easy to use and operate. 4G LTE or Ethernet can be used with or without the AmpUp OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol) cloud-based EV charging management software. There’s a high brightness 4.3” LCD display, and an RFID card reader for user authentication if enabled.

Options to Suit Your Needs

Both of LED’s BreezEV charging stations come with a variety of optional features. You can choose 40A and 48A cable sets in 12’, 18’, or 25’ lengths. The units come with the standard option of wall mounting. But several different styles of pedestals are also available as mounting options. Units can be mounted by themselves or in pairs on pedestals, and there’s even an optional cable management system for the pedestal mounts. Companies utilizing these stations can also take advantage of available real estate on the pedestal mounts by adding custom branding and advertising.
