Course Purpose:
After completing this course, you should be able to:
- Create a new FactoryTalk Optix project and configure its main window, panel types, navigation, and dynamic links, gaining hands-on experience with fundamental HMI development concepts.
- Create and manage alarms, including digital and analog alarms, alarm banners, summaries, and history, and simulate alarms to observe their behavior.
- Configure data logging with a wizard, displaying data in grids and trends, and generating reports with customizable stylesheets and PDF output.
- Manage recipes by creating recipe schemas, importing recipe editors, and managing recipes at runtime.
- Switch language with localization dictionaries
- Manage user security with authentication modes
- Manage users and groups
- Employ aliasing for dynamic data display
- Employ responsive graphics layouts
- Manage OPC UA communications
- Deploy applications to runtime devices
