Agilix Solutions has named Jay Arnold Vice President of South Region, effective September 1, 2026.
Arnold brings more than 15 years of industrial automation, electrical, and technology sales and leadership experience to the role. His experience includes serving as Vice President of National Services & Support at Staley Technologies, Strategic Account Manager at AVEVA, and five years with Rockwell Automation as both an OEM Account Manager and a Channel Account Manager.
Agilix Solutions’ South Region encompasses the Memphis, Bartlett, and Jackson branches in Tennessee, the Glen and Grenada branches in Mississippi, and the Blytheville and Jonesboro branches in Arkansas. As regional Vice President, Arnold will provide strategic leadership, partnering with branch teams to grow sales and strengthen relationships with customers and manufacturer partners across the region.
“Jay brings a rare combination of manufacturer, distributor, and executive leadership experience,” said Dave Armstrong, Senior Vice President of Sales. “He understands our customers’ challenges and how our manufacturing partners go to market. I’m confident he will lead the South Region into its next chapter of growth, and I look forward to seeing what our teams accomplish under his leadership.”
Arnold is no stranger to the region. Earlier in his career, he held account management and systems roles with Experitec in Memphis, where he led sales for Rosemount and Micro Motion products across Arkansas, Mississippi, and Southeastern Missouri. He began his career as an Account Manager with a national electrical distribution company in Arkansas. Arnold holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Arkansas and is relocating to the Memphis area from Little Rock.
“I’m excited to join Agilix and to return to the distribution side of this industry,” said Arnold. “The South Region has talented teams and loyal customers, and I’ve spent much of my career working alongside the manufacturers Agilix represents. I look forward to meeting our customers and partners and helping the region continue to grow.”
