Exploring the B-Line series BBT Telescoping Brackets
The BBT telescoping brackets are available in three models: BBT-HF, BBT-WF, and BBT-16. All three models include an auto-height adjustment feature, allowing contractors to quickly ensure correct height every time. All three are also versatile enough to work with 4″, 4-11/16″, and 5″ electrical boxes. They are UL Listed for the U.S. and Canada, and CSA certified.
BBT-HF telescoping brackets are quick and easy to install. Simply slide the bracket to the width required, snap both ends of the bracket to the stud, and secure with screws. It offers hands free snap-to-stud for 1-1/4” through 1-3/8” wide studs and includes an Auto-ADA height feature.
BBT-WF is a telescoping box mounting bracket ideal for wide flange (structural style or wood) studs. It’s designed for use with structural style studs that are wider than 1-3/8” and includes an Auto-ADA height feature.
BBT-16 telescoping brackets are designed especially for smaller spaces. These brackets are designed for use with studs with 9-1/4” to 16-1/2” spacing.

The BBA box mounting brackets come in three varieties: BBA, BBA-2, and BBA-4. All three are designed to easily snap onto the BBT-HF, BBT-WF and BBT-16 bracket, and accept 4”, 4-11-16”, and 5” box sizes.

Eaton also recently introduced a new B-Line series product into the family: BBT-TG ceiling clips. When paired with the popular BBT-WF telescoping bracket, the BBT-TG can be used for t-grid ceiling applications, helping reduce the number of SKUs required for both wall and ceiling installations.
The BBT-TG clips easily install onto the BBT-WF with two screws. Then, a BBA or BBA-4 alignment bracket can be attached to the BBT-WF for a rigid and reliable support for fire alarm boxes, nurse call buttons, lighting controls and more, in a ceiling application.
