Industrial workforces are being pressured like never before. The systems they must productively design, operate, and maintain are more connected and complex. Roles and responsibilities have expanded, requiring more diverse skillsets. In addition, older workers are moving into retirement, which leaves skills and knowledge gaps.
The cost of unscheduled downtime, safety compliance, and new technology integration can significantly impact productivity. However, many of these issues can be minimized with proper workforce training and development.
We can provide training where and when needed to help address these issues.
Our Learning+ Training subscriptions combine the self-paced experience of e-learning with in-class collaboration with instructors, labs, and additional training content – all in a virtual environment.
Our e-learning courses incorporate a variety of fundamental and product-specific topics to deliver a world-class training solution directly the location of your choice. Each learning module contains activities, software simulations, and demonstration videos to help reinforce learning concepts.
Our virtual classroom sessions combine in-class collaboration with highly skilled instructors and video assets, student materials, instructor lectures, interactive labs and collaborative Q & A sessions. Office hours are also available for small group coaching.

What is Learning+?
A Learning+ training subscription is Rockwell Automation’s electronic learning platform comprised of self-paced e-learning modules and hybrid virtual classrooms primarily focused on Rockwell Automation technologies. It provides an accessible platform to learn on any tablet or PC, using a standard browser. Each e-learning lesson has a knowledge assessment with a certificate of completion if the student scores 80% or higher.
What is Learning+ Enhanced?
Learning+ Enhanced provides identical content to Learning+, but with the addition of non-Rockwell Automation learning content such as base craft skills to expand the learner’s knowledge in areas such as instrumentation & controls, base electrical, mechanical, operational excellence, etc.
What is Learning+ Flex? Learning+ Flex is an annual subscription available in quantities of twenty-five (25) or more users. The number of purchased users defines how many concurrent learners can be active at any time. The Flex subscription gives subscription administrators the ability to view and modify learners’ access using administrative dashboards. Learners will have access to over 40 automation courses within the Rockwell Automation Digital Learning Library and unlimited access to scheduled Virtual Instructor-led training. All content and courses will be available for the duration of the subscription.
What is Learning+ Craft Skills?
Learning+ Craft Skills is an annual subscription for craft skills courses only. The learner will have access to over 140 hours of industrial craft skills courses. Content ranges from mechanical technician topics to operational excellence topics. All content will be available for the duration of the subscription.
Is the Learning+ platform subscription-based?
Yes, subscriptions are sold on an annual subscription basis with access to all content for Learning+ Enhanced and automation content for Learning+ users. Individual Rockwell Automation e-learning courses are available as 90-day access as well. Learning+ Enhanced specific courses (craft skills) are not available for 90-day access.
Are Learning+ courses broken up by module?
Yes, each course is made up of a series of modules. Each module is targeted to be around 8 minutes long for e-learning. Virtual Classroom events are live and delivered in roughly three-hour increments with follow-up office hours.
Do Learning+ courses count as prerequisites for the Traditional or Accelerated Certificate Paths?
Yes. Learning+ e-learning courses qualify as a prerequisite for all certificate paths.
What is the difference between the Instructor-led version and the Learning+ version of a course?
The content of the courses is about 95% the same. The major difference would be the hands-on lab portion of the course. The Learning+ version is primarily a demonstration experience, using virtual interaction with the instructors to view the lab activity. Instructor-led training is done in person and the labs are a true hands-on experience.
Will there be an administrative view to see the progress for all employees under the customer’s access?
Yes, there will be supervisory dashboards available to all tiers of Multi-User (LP-MUT1, LP- MUT2, LP-MUT3), Multi-User Enhanced (LP-MUT1-ENH, LP-MUT2-ENH, LP-MUT3-ENH) and Flex (LP- FLEX) subscriptions. The person who placed the order will have access to the administrative dashboard. Educational User (LP-EU) packages will also include the administrative dashboard. There is no administrative dashboard for LP-3, LP-3TC, SU1, SU1-ENH, and CRAFT subscriptions.
Will a customer with 90-day access be able to participate in Virtual Classroom sessions?
Yes, a 90-day access customer can access the Virtual Classroom sessions. It is very important to advise that sessions are scheduled with the attempt to run at least once per quarter. Virtual Classroom sessions also must have at least one student enrolled to be conducted. There is no guarantee that a customer will be able to complete all virtual sessions within 90 days. No extensions can be offered
Will Virtual Classroom sessions have any “hands-on” experience?
No. Virtual Classroom sessions will include a show-and-tell demonstration style for labs, but customers will not have access to a physical demo or a hands-on experience.
Will participants in Virtual Classroom sessions have access to standard course materials?
Yes. Customers will receive access to our course materials through our digital platform, Mimeo, as part of their Virtual Classroom experience.
For 90-day access, does the customer need to specify which course they would like to complete when placing the order?
No, customers do not need to specify the course before entering the system. Users will select the course they would like to complete once they enter the portal and activate their access key.
Can users start and stop courses when needed and save progress?
Yes, you may bookmark your place to pick up where you left off within the e-learning courses.
When does access to a course expire?
Access expires after 90 or 365 days (depending on the subscription duration purchased) from when the access key is emailed to the customer.
If a customer purchases 90-day access to a single course, can they retake the course after completion?
Yes, the customer can retake the course as many times as they would like during their
90-day period once the course is completed.
If a customer purchases an annual subscription, can they retake a course after completion?
Yes, the customer can complete the e-learning courses multiple times after completion. However, assessments cannot be retaken once passed with an 80% or higher. Virtual Classroom sessions can be taken multiple times.
